GOD PROMISES JUDEMENT
God Promises Judgment. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the LORD, ‘just what you have spoken in My hearing I will most certainly do to you; your dead bodies will fall in this wilderness, even all who were numbered of you, your entire number from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against Me.
THE MAJORITY AND MINORITY REPORTS
The majority and minority reports. Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession of it; for we will certainly conquer it. “But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people [of Canaan], for they are too strong for us.”
TRIBAL SPIES SENT INTO CANAAN
. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am going to give to the sons of Israel. From each of their fathers’ tribes you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”

THE CLOUD COVERING THE TABERNACLE
Now on the day that the tabernacle was erected, the cloud [of God’s presence] covered the tabernacle, that is, the tent of the Testimony; and in the evening it was over the tabernacle, appearing like [a pillar of] fire until the morning.
THE PASSOVER CELEBRATED
The Passover Celebrated. Let the children of Israel also keep the Passover at his appointed season.
CONSECRATED TO GOD’S SERVICE
Consecrated to God’s service. “Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the Israelites, and the Levites shall be Mine [in a very special sense].
LIGHTS IN GODS HOUSE;CLEAN WORKMEN
Lights in God’s house; clean workmen. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and say to him, ‘When you set up and light the lamps, the seven lamps will shine in front of the lampstand.'”
THE VOW OF SEPARTION
Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
“Say to the sons of Israel, ‘When a man or a woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, that is, one separated and dedicated to the LORD, he shall abstain from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar, whether made from wine or strong drink, nor shall he drink any grape juice nor eat fresh or dried grapes.
DUTIES OF THE KOHATHITES
Duties of the Kohathites. Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families (clans), by their fathers’ households,
from thirty years old and upward, even to fifty years old, all who enter the service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle). This is the work and responsibility of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle): the most holy things.
