NATHAN REBUKES DAVID THOU ART THE MAN

Nathan Rebukes David Thou Art The Man. Why have you despised the word of the LORD by doing evil in His sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife. You have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.

DAVID AND BATHSHEBA, ADDING BLOOD-GUILTINESS TO ADULTERY

THE ARK TABERNACLED IN THE CITY OF DAVID

The Ark Tabernacled In The City Of David. Now King David was told, “The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the City of David with rejoicing and gladness.

THE ARK BROUGHT TO JERUSALEM

The Ark Brought to Jerusalem. David was unwilling to move the ark of the LORD into the City of David with him; instead he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

DAVID DEFEATS THE PHILISTINES

David Defeats the Philistines. David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You hand them over to me?” And the LORD said to David, “Go up, for I will certainly hand them over to you.”
