Now when King David heard about all these things, he was very angry [but failed to take any action]. But Absalom did not speak to Amnon either good or bad; for Absalom hated Amnon because he had violated his sister Tamar.

Amnon And Tamar Sin In David’s Household. It happened afterwards that Absalom the son of David had a beautiful sister whose name was Tamar, and Amnon [her half brother] the son of David was in love with her.
DAVID’S CHILD DIES HE ACCEPTING THE LORD’S JUDGMENT
