LOVE AND SERVER THE LORD

Love and Serve the Lord. Therefore, thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

WHAT THE LORD DOES FOR HIS PEOPLE

What the Lord does for his people. He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your [olive] oil, the offspring of your cattle and the young of your flock, in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you.

JACOB IN LABAN’S HOME

When Laban heard of the arrival of Jacob, his sister’s son, he ran to meet him, and embraced and kissed him and brought him to his house. Then he told Laban all these things.

TO THE CHURCH IN LAODICEA

To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Laodicea write: “These are the words of the Amen, the trusted and faithful and true Witness, the Beginning and Origin of God’s creation:

WALKING IN TRUTH AND LOVE

And this is love: that we walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should [always] walk in love.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER IN DEED AND IN TRUTH

Love one another in deed and in truth. Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words].

NAMED CALLED AND COUNTED CHILDREN OF THE CREATOR GOD

The Marks Of God’s Children. See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so, we are! For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD

Do not love the world [of sin that opposes God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

CHRIST OUR ADVOCATE NEW COMMANDMENT OF LOVE

Christ our advocate the new commandment of love. My little children (believers, dear ones), I am writing you these things so that you will not sin and violate God’s law. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate [who will intercede for us] with the Father: Jesus Christ the righteous [the upright, the just One, who conforms to the Father’s will in every way–purpose, thought, and action].

ALL SCRIPTURE IS BREATHED OUT BY GOD
