THE GREAT FLOOD SUBSIDES

The Great Flood Subsides. And God remembered and thought kindly of Noah and every living thing and all the animals that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind blow over the land, and the waters receded.

THE GREATEST FLOOD

For in seven days I am going to cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights; and I will destroy (blot out, wipe away) every living thing that I have made from the surface of the earth.”

NOAH BUILDS THE ARK

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Noah Builds The Ark

INCREASING CORRUPTION ON EARTH

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

ADAM’S DESCENDANTS TO NOAH

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Enoch never died.

CAIN, WHERE IS THY BROTHER ABEL?

And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?
And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

OFFERINGS BY CAIN AND ABEL

And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

GOD’S CONDEMNATION OF ADAM AND EVE

“By the sweat of your face You will eat bread Until you return to the ground, for from it you were taken; For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

THE CREATION OF MAN AND WOMAN THE FALL

The Creation of Man and Woman. Then the LORD God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit].

THE SEVENTH DAY BLESSED AND SET APART

So God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it [as His own, that is, set it apart as holy from other days], because in it He rested from all His work which He had created and done.
