Our Savior was rejected in Nazareth see;

Cleanses the Temple.
We see that He;
Knows What Is in Man.
He then tells us how to get saved;
You Must Be Born Again!
For God So Loved the World!
Jesus ends His Ministry in Judea and;
John the Baptist Exalts Christ.
Jesus finished His Ministry in Judea and went up to Galilee but did not take the long road the Jews normally take to avoid going through Samaria but went straight to a place called Sychar near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there.

Jesus returned via Samaria to Galilee and we see The Rewards Of Service John 4:28-38, The Growth Of Faith John 4:39-45 and lastly The Reward Of Trusting Jesus’ Word John4:46-54.

Back in Galilee after a year in Judea;
Jesus Ministers to Great Crowds.
Nazareth’s loss was Capernaum’s gain. The people in the latter city recognized that His teaching was authoritative. His words were convicting and impelling.

Matthew 22:41-46
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
Saying,
“What think ye of Christ? whose son is he?”
They say unto him, The Son of David.
He saith unto them,
“How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?”
And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
Frederick Brotherton Meyer, a contemporary and friend of D. L. Moody and A. C. Dixon, was a Baptist pastor and evangelist in England involved in ministry and inner city mission work on both sides of the Atlantic presents it to us this way regarding Matthew 22:41-46
The question which the Master propounded to the scribes can be solved only by the admission of His two natures-divine and human-as existing in His one person. As David’s Lord He is divine; as his son, He was born of the Virgin. See Mat_1:1.
William MacDonald (1917-2007) who, for more than forty years, written directly about the key issues of Christianity. Leaving a promising business career as an employed investment analyst with First National Bank of Boston “at the foot of the Cross”, he had travelled worldwide, proclaiming the unsearchable riches of Christ for the Believer’s Bible Commentary on Matthew 22:41-46
David’s Son Is David’s Lord
22:41, 42 While the Pharisees were still awed by Jesus’ answer to the lawyer, He faced them with a provocative problem. “What did they think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”
Most Pharisees did not believe that Jesus was the Christ; they were still waiting for the Messiah. So Jesus was not asking them, “What do you think of Me?” (though that, of course, was involved). He was asking in a general way whose Son the Messiah would be when He appeared.
They answered correctly that the Messiah would be a descendant of David.
22:43, 44 Then the Lord Jesus quoted Psa_110:1 where David said, “The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.’” The first use of the word “Lord” refers to God the Father, and the second to the Messiah. So David spoke of the Messiah as his Lord.
22:45 Now Jesus posed the question, “If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” The answer is that the Messiah is both David’s Lord and David’s Son—both God and Man. As God, He is David’s Lord; as Man, He is David’s Son.
Had the Pharisees only been teachable, they would have realized that Jesus was the Messiah—the Son of David through the line of Mary, and the Son of God as revealed by His words, works, and ways.
22:46 But they refused to see. Completely baffled by His wisdom, they ceased trying to trick Him with questions. Hereafter they would use another method—violence.
