OHOLIAB AND BEZALEL

Now the LORD said to Moses,

“See, I have called by name Bezalel, son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom and skill, in understanding and intelligence, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,

to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,

and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, to work in all kinds of craftsmanship.

And behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; to all who are wise-hearted I have given the skill and ability to make everything that I have commanded you:

the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the Testimony, the mercy seat that is upon it, all the furnishings of the tent–

the table [for the bread] and its utensils, the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, the [golden] altar of incense,

the [bronze] altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, the basin and its base–

the finely worked garments, the holy garments for Aaron the [high] priest and the garments for his sons to minister as priests,

and the anointing oil and the sweet and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them according to all that I have commanded you.”

WISE WORKMEN FOR THE TABERNACLE

Whenever there is special work to be done God will find and endow the men who are to do it. “I have called,… I have filled,… I have appointed,” etc. There is a niche for each of us in God’s service, to each a special work is given; and for each those talents are imparted, which are requisite and adequate. “Created unto good works,” says the Apostle, “which God has before prepared that we should walk in them,” Eph_2:10. The talent for the sphere and the sphere for the talent-God’s call binding the two with golden clasps.

New Covenant Israelite! "And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;  Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee."  Rom 11:17 -18
